 4. COURSE AVALUATION

This course is taught in English. The teaching forms and methods are built on practices of

collaborative learning, including interactive lectures, seminars, exercises and group work.

The students are expected to engage in independent reading of literature and participate

actively in the exercises and discussions in class.

The final mark is calculated as follows :

●        Final exercise: 70%

●        Final oral presentation: 20%

●        Class participation: 10%

The final work (4500-5000 words) could be an empirical work (1-2 people) or an theoretical paper (1 person). In both cases it requires deeper, more elaborated and complex discussions around

the same learning outcomes, as well as references to other relevant academic sources in addition to those required in the course.

The main avaluation criteria are:

- Originality and relevance of the topic

- Complexity of the data and/or the theoretical discussions

- Clarity and consistence of the text (and other formal aspects)

- Relevance of the literature

If a student do not pass the course, changes must be made in order to improve the quality of his/her final work. It has to be presented a week after the final session.
