The course on Telecommunications Infrastructure Deployment (DIT) is part of service development courses and is mandatory within the Telematics degree and optional on the rest of the ESUP engineering.
DIT introduces students to the development of Infrastructures for Telecommunication Networks .
Thus, the course will present, from a complete perspective, the different processes and tasks that need to be carried out when deploying a telecom network, starting from the preliminary studies and ending with the managing of the construction process and the transfer of the complete infrastructure to the operation and maintenance department.
The course proposes to carry out a development project as an exercise to explore practical the challenges associated with previous study, development planning, investment and hiring, development management and delivery infrastructure once finished.
Once deployed, the infrastructure should be operated and maintained efficiently to not only provide services but also to represent valuable assets.
DIT continues and develops in detail concepts acquired in the course of Project Management and coordinates with the subject Telecommunications Network OAM.
