Syllabus

This course aims to provide students with an introduction to psychology and includes basic knowledge of general psychology and social psychology. Special emphasis is placed on the contents and skills necessary for future graduates. The topics are: personality, motivation and emotions at work, attitudes at work and job satisfaction, and groups and their dynamics applied to work and study. The first two topics are dealt with in lectures and the last one in seminars.

The lectures, which are for all the students on the degree course, are used to introduce the two disciplines: what are psychology and social psychology and why are they useful for Labour Relations graduates? The objective of the seminars is to acquire knowledge and skills related to groups and the formation of work and study groups through the dynamics of the seminar group itself.
