1. Presentation of the subject
This course will focus on the study of the work by Meister Eckhart, the 14th-century German philosopher and theologian, as well as his spiritual inheritance in Thought, Art and Literature.

3. Contents
There will be readings of texts with the full group in every session. Therefore, there will be no difference between the master classes and the seminars.
1. Criticism of religion in the 21st century.
2. Hermeneutics of the life and work of Meister Eckhart.
3. The Latin biblical commentaries and the German sermons.
4. The Greco-Latin, Jewish and Arabic sources in the thought of Eckhart.
5. Reading and commentary of some sermons and treaties.
6. European spiritual tradition: the Rhenish-Flemish school in the German Romanticism and Idealism.
7. Readers of Eckhart in the Kyoto School.
8. Eckhart and Phenomenology: M. Henry, M. Heidegger, J. Derrida.
9. Eckhart in Literature, Poetry and Art.
10. Criticism of the Religious Consciousness.
