1. Presentation of the subject

 

In this subject it will be studied the myth of the metamorphosis and the symbolism of the material or spiritual transformation in some emblematic works of the world literature.

Approximation to the metamorphosis myth by world literature works included in the subject.	The students will have the ability to analyse the style and the works of several authors depending on the proposed contents of the course.

5) The Faustian Myth: Faust (first part) by GOETHE

6) The Faustian Myth in the Russian Literature: the poem The Demonds by PUSHKIN and The Demon by LÉRMONTOV

7) Literature and the secret topic: Heart of a dog by BULGAKOV
