1. Presentation of the subject
Analysis of the evolution of the city and of urbanism throughout time and throughout a variety of geographic spaces. The city as an expression of the different cultures and civilisations and its relation to Western artistic and social movements.
A study of the urban phenomenon from the historical and social point of view, from the perspective of their cultural elaboration and of their symbolic resonances.
