1. Presentation of the subject

A study of the fundamental elements and issues posed by Rhetoric and Poetics: the construction and formulation of thought, the rhetoric system, the literary ideas and figures of thought, and Rhetoric as Pragmatics.

Reading exercises. Fundamental historical and language content. Linguistic self-consciousness.	Textual analytical acknowledgement and interpretative imagination. Ancient Rhetoric for modern students. Genres and forms: theory and texts examples.

3) Tropes. Figures of sound and figures of thought

4) Rhetoric as a Pragmatic Poetics.
