1. Presentation of the subject
From the universal monarchy to the crisis of Ancien Régime (16th-18th centuries)
Study and interpretation of the fundamental episodes, as well as the assumptions and consequences, of modern history of Spain.

1. Basic knowledge on Spanish history throughout the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries in connection with the situation in the rest of the world. 2. Basic knowledge on the structuring of the Ancien Régime and the social and economic transformations that took place, taking into account territorial evolutions. 3. Basic knowledge on thought, politics, society and culture during this period. 4. Basic knowledge on transformations and processes during changes of period. 5. Basic knowledge, abilities and opinions related to this period. 6. Skills in studying thoroughly the language and reasoning used by the different political and cultural protagonists of the period. 7. Skills in setting texts, documents, data, images and graphics in their social and political contexts. |
