12858 Gramàtica i Anàlisi de Discurs B (Anglès)
General goal and assumed level
The general goal of this
subject is to perfect the students’ skills in their B language, especially
reading and writing. The fact that English will be the major source language in
their future careers as translators underpins the whole concept of the course.
The level is assumed to be
just below Cambridge Proficiency. Since the students have just returned from
their study period abroad, they will be expected to be able to follow the large
group and seminar activities and contribute to them with no major problems.
