- Understanding facts and details
- Key word identification
- Formal note taking: organisation

Theoretical session IV

- Prediction and revision skills
- Summarising
- Question and answer techniques
- Formal note taking: anticipating contents

Theoretical session V

Contents:
Academic lecture (live)

- Analysing and evaluating information
- Identifying specialist vocabulary
- Applying skills
- Formal note taking: classification techniques

Practical sessions:

These sessions will be organised according to the needs and interests of the student. Evaluation will be based on the presentation of systematically organised notes and/or a summary or gloss of the courses given in English within the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies. The teacher will give help and support to the student so that he/she may get the most out of the courses given in English.
